grafpin: graffiti map

grafpin is the collaborative archive of street art: photograph a graffiti piece, it is saved with its exact location and becomes part of an open map that anyone can explore. Pin it. Save it. Never lose it. CAPTURE AND GEOLOCATE • Take the photo in front of the piece and the pin is set automatically with your phone's GPS, with its accuracy shown. • Every piece has a location: without a pin it is not published. Placing it by hand is the last resort and is marked as such. • Add a signature, details and context, also from your gallery. • No signal? The piece is saved on your phone and uploaded automatically when the connection returns. EXPLORE THE MAP • The whole archive on a map: zoom into your neighborhood and see what is around you. • Search by city, artist or theme: figurative mural, geometric, nature, portrait and more. ARTISTS AND AUTHORSHIP • Every artist has a public profile with their pseudonym, their collected work, their gallery and their links. • Verified authorship: prove a piece is yours with a capture code or your artist QR. • Credit the co-authors of a piece painted by several people. • Follow your artists and get a notice when they publish. STORIES • Chronicles about a piece, a wall or a city, with your own images and linked to pieces in the archive. • Comment and talk with the author. A CAREFULLY KEPT ARCHIVE • Every photo goes through moderation before it is published, and you can see the status of yours and why. • "Wall through time": see what has been painted in the same place over the years. YOUR PHOTOS' PRIVACY • Before uploading, the app strips the photo's metadata (camera model, date, embedded GPS) and keeps only the orientation. • The location that is published is the one you confirm, not the one the camera wrote silently. • You can delete your account from your own profile. grafpin is a product of EX-CRIBE S.A.S.
