Full description
Good ol' Tile Words is a classic word board game for people who just want to play. Draw seven letter tiles, build words across the board, and try to out-score Jan, your opponent, who has opinions about how the game is going. PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE No timers, no rush, no pushing you to play against strangers. Take as long as you like over every move. The game is free, with a short ad after each game finishes and never between turns. Nothing is for sale. PLAY OFFLINE, ANYTIME The game works without a connection. On a plane, on the train, anywhere with no signal, your game is on your phone. PLAY AGAINST JAN Jan is a proper opponent, not a random word generator. Choose how hard she plays: Easy if you're learning, Hard if you want a real fight. She reacts as the game swings: cheerful when she's ahead, rattled when you land a big one. EARN REWARDS 28 feats in six ladders, from your first long word to beating Jan on Hard. Each one unlocks something: new tile sets, boards, cosy backgrounds and outfits for your character. Every rule is shown from the start, and nothing is random. CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD Sign in with Google Play Games if you'd like your wins on the leaderboard. It's optional: you never need an account to play. A REAL DICTIONARY Over 100,000 words. Tap any word on the board to see what it means, so the game teaches you something as you go. LEARN IN MINUTES A guided walkthrough plays one word with you, step by step, then shows you what every button does. Skip it if you already know how this works. MADE TO BE READABLE Big, clear tiles. Drag letters onto the board, or tap to place them. Move a tile after you've put it down. Undo a whole word if you change your mind. Hints if you're stuck: a letter, the word, or exactly where it goes. Watch a short ad if you'd like an extra hint without losing points. GENTLE MUSIC AND SOUNDS Calm background music and soft sounds, with separate switches for each. MULTIPLE PLAYERS ON ONE PHONE Set up a player each, with your own name and character. Everyone keeps their own game in progress and their own settings. FEATURES - Full 15x15 board with premium letter and word squares - Over 100,000 valid words - Three difficulty levels - Tap any word for its definition - Hints when you're stuck - Rewards: tile sets, boards, backgrounds and outfits - Optional leaderboard with Google Play Games - Word history for every game - See which letters are still unplayed - Multiple player profiles on one device - Play offline, no account needed Good ol' Tile Words is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other word game or board game publisher.
