Full description
NotiScope tells you what actually happened to a notification, not just what it said. Android notifications don't always give you the full picture. Something buzzes and you don't know what caused it. A notification flashes up and disappears before you can read it. An app silently removes an alert and you're left wondering why. NotiScope answers those questions using the notification information Android already exposes, presented in a way that's actually useful. WHAT IT DOES Last alert: Instantly see which app caused your phone's most recent sound or vibration, when it happened, and which notification channel it came through. Vanishing notifications: Catch alerts that appeared briefly and disappeared before you had a chance to read them. Removal reasons: See whether you dismissed a notification, the app cancelled it, it timed out, or Android removed it for another reason. Full history: Search and revisit notifications Android has shown you, including alerts that are no longer visible. Notification lifecycle: Follow a notification from its first appearance through updates, revisions and removal. Revision history: Compare updates to the same notification and see exactly which stored fields changed. App and channel insights: See which apps and channels generate the most notifications, which alerts actually interrupt you, and which you tend to dismiss. Detailed filtering: Search by app, content and fields, or narrow your history by alert behaviour and status. BUILT FOR INSPECTION NotiScope can be as simple or as technical as you want. Open a notification for a clear summary of what happened, when it appeared, how long it remained active and how Android treated it. Go deeper to compare revisions and see how its content or metadata changed over time. For developers, testers and curious Android users, the raw inspector exposes the underlying notification fields Android provides, including source information, categories, flags, extras and other metadata. You can search individual fields and inspect the values Android actually delivered to NotiScope. PRIVATE BY DESIGN NotiScope runs entirely on your device. No account required Notification history is stored locally Notification content never leaves your phone Choose your own privacy mode, from full content down to metadata only Exclude specific apps from logging Clear all stored data at any time NotiScope needs notification access to work. That's the one special permission it asks for, it's explained plainly before you grant it, and it's never bundled with anything else. WHO IT'S FOR Ever wondered "what just made my phone go off?" NotiScope gives you the answer immediately. If that's all you need, the home screen keeps things simple. If you want to investigate further, you can explore notification history, removal behaviour, revisions, app statistics and detailed Android fields. For developers and testers, NotiScope also provides a useful window into what notifications actually look like after Android has processed them, not merely what your app originally attempted to post. WHAT NOTISCOPE DOESN'T DO NotiScope doesn't recover deleted messages, bypass app privacy, or read content you were never notified about. It records information Android makes available through notification access and helps you understand what appeared, what changed, what interrupted you, what disappeared, and why.
