Full description
Go — also called Baduk in Korea and Weiqi in China — is the oldest board game still played in its original form. TseGo brings Go to your phone with a real KataGo AI, not a toy. PLAYS OFFLINE, FOR REAL The KataGo neural network runs directly on your device. No account and no connection needed to play. On the metro, on a plane, in the mountains — the AI is right there. BOTS THAT ACTUALLY PLAY THEIR RANK Most apps make weak opponents by crippling a superhuman engine: perfect shape for twenty moves, then a blunder no human would make. Ours use the KataGo Human-SL network, conditioned on real player ranks. Ask for 12 kyu and you get 12 kyu — including the mistakes a 12 kyu makes, where they make them. Levels run 20 kyu to 5 dan. GAME REVIEW BY AI After every game the AI shows your best and worst moves and how many points each one cost. 15,000 TSUMEGO PUZZLES Life-and-death problems for Go, Baduk and Weiqi players of every level, on 9x9, 13x13 and 19x19. Hints when you are stuck. PLAY PEOPLE Ranked online board game matches with Elo, friends, chat and leagues. Or pass the phone and play this board game across the table. BOTH RULE SETS, DONE PROPERLY Japanese Go rules (territory scoring, komi 6.5) and Chinese Weiqi rules (area scoring, komi 7.5). Handicap, byo-yomi, dead stone marking, scoring — all of it. LEARN FROM ZERO A two-minute interactive tutorial teaches the rules of this board game by playing them. No prior knowledge needed — then practise against the gentlest KataGo bot. Baduk has never been easier to start. MAKE IT YOURS Stone sets, boards, placement animations and sounds — from classic Weiqi and Baduk sets of slate and shell to night and paper. Weiqi, Baduk or Go — one board game, three names, one KataGo AI to play against. Free to play, no signup required.
