Anaemi Scan

Anaemi Scan is an advanced veterinary and agricultural tool designed specifically for livestock farmers, herd managers, and veterinarians to monitor the health of goats and sheep. Using state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, Anaemi Scan automates the proven FAMACHA© scoring method. By analyzing the color of the lower eyelid mucosa, the app helps identify animals suffering from severe anemia, which is most commonly caused by the deadly Barber Pole Worm (Haemonchus contortus). Protect your herd, optimize your deworming protocols, and prevent parasite resistance with instant, non-invasive digital diagnostics. 🌟 KEY FEATURES • Instant AI Diagnosis: Take a clear photo of your goat or sheep's lower eyelid, or upload an image from your gallery, and let the neural network analyze the mucosal hue in milliseconds. • Accurate FAMACHA Scoring: Receive a clear clinical score from 1 (Optimal/Red) to 5 (Severely Anemic/White) based on established veterinary baselines. • Actionable Treatment Protocols: Get immediate recommended actions based on the severity of the scan, helping you decide which animals require targeted deworming. • Herd Management History: Save and track the diagnostic history of specific animals using their Tag IDs or Names to monitor recovery over time. • Expert Review System: Flag uncertain or high-risk scans to be reviewed by platform administrators and veterinary experts for secondary confirmation. 🛠️ HOW IT WORKS Pull down the lower eyelid of the goat or sheep to expose the mucosal membrane. Snap a clear, well-lit photo using the Anaemi Scan live camera, or upload an existing photo. The AI engine processes the pixel saturation and matches it against thousands of verified clinical samples. Receive your score and treatment recommendation instantly. 🧑‍🌾 WHO IS THIS FOR? • Commercial livestock farmers • Small-scale goat and sheep breeders • Veterinary professionals and technicians • Agricultural researchers and students ⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Anaemi Scan is an agricultural and veterinary tool designed exclusively for livestock (goats and sheep). It is NOT intended for human medical use, human diagnosis, or human health tracking. While this AI tool provides high-accuracy screening based on the FAMACHA method, it is designed to assist, not replace, professional veterinary judgment. Always consult a certified veterinarian for critical animal health decisions and prescription deworming treatments.
