Full description
GMEOW VPN opens an encrypted OpenVPN tunnel in one tap. The free account is not a trial. It does not expire, it never asks for a card, and there are no ads anywhere in the app. ONE TAP, AND A SECOND CHANCE Pick a country or let the app choose for you. If the first server does not answer, GMEOW quietly tries another one before it tells you anything went wrong. Most failed connections never reach you. WATCH YOUR OWN ADDRESS CHANGE The home screen shows the address the internet currently sees you as. Connect, and watch it change. You are not asked to trust a padlock icon. You can check the tunnel yourself, every time. KILL SWITCH AND AUTO-CONNECT Cut traffic if the tunnel drops. Connect automatically on untrusted Wi-Fi, on mobile data, or on both. Both are available on every account, free included. BUILT ON OPENVPN Your traffic travels inside the OpenVPN protocol, an open standard that has been audited and used across the industry for years. We invented no cryptography of our own, because nobody should trust cryptography invented for a single app. WHAT WE DO NOT KEEP We never record the sites you visit, your DNS queries, the contents of your traffic, or your IP address. What we do keep is written out field by field in our privacy policy, together with how long each item lives, including the connection-attempt records we use to find and fix failures and delete after thirty days. We would rather list it than call ourselves a no-log provider and leave you to guess what that covers. https://gmeow.org/privacy.html SAFER ON PUBLIC WI-FI Airports, cafes, hotels. On an open network anyone else connected to it can watch traffic that is not encrypted. Inside the tunnel they see a single encrypted stream and nothing more. SERVERS AROUND THE WORLD Connect through servers on several continents, each one listed with a measured latency figure and the time that measurement was taken. When a figure is too old to trust, the app says so instead of showing you a number that looks certain. STAR THE ONES THAT WORK Save the servers that treat your connection well and they stay at the top of your list, on any device you sign in from. A LOOK THAT IS NOT ANOTHER DARK BOX Hand-drawn skies, drifting clouds, and a mountain on the horizon. Every screen sits in the same light, because a tool you open every day should not feel like a control panel. AD AND TRACKER FILTERING, ON PREMIUM Premium can point the tunnel at AdGuard's resolvers, which return no answer for ad and tracker domains, so the filtering also applies inside your other apps. It cannot catch ads served from the same domain as the content around them, and we will not pretend otherwise. You can also enter a resolver you run yourself. Free accounts use Cloudflare, which answers everything without filtering. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO PREMIUM Premium is a subscription billed through Google Play. Four lengths are offered: one month, three months, six months and one year. The price for your country is shown inside the app and again at checkout, in your own currency. Premium opens the entire server list rather than roughly one node in five, gives you the faster end of the published quality ranking, lets three devices hold a tunnel at once instead of one, and lets you point the tunnel at AdGuard or at a resolver you run yourself. Every plan renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel in Google Play at any time and keep what you paid for until that period ends. A free account keeps working exactly as it did.

What's new

Signing up now needs a verified email address. Enter the six-ten digit code we send you, or tap the link in the message. Either one works. Disposable and throwaway email services are refused at signup. Custom DNS resolvers now check themselves. If the address you entered cannot look names up, GMEOW switches back to Cloudflare and tells you why instead of leaving you with a tunnel that loads nothing.
