Kovira

Kovira is a privacy-first personal ledger for tracking your daily transactions. Designed for people who want to keep control of their financial data without trusting it to a third-party service. KEY FEATURES - Offline-first design. Your ledger lives on your phone in a local database. PRIVACY AND ENCRYPTION Kovira does not collect, transmit, or share any data. There are no analytics, no ad SDKs, no crash reporters, no third-party trackers. If you choose to enable Google Drive backup, your ledger is encrypted on your device with AES-256-CBC and PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (100,000 iterations) using a passphrase you set. The encrypted file is uploaded to your own Google Drive using the drive.file scope, meaning Kovira can only see files it created itself. We never receive a copy. If you lose the backup passphrase, the backup cannot be recovered. This is a property of strong encryption, not a limitation we can work around.
