Potion Sort: Professor Quill is a water sort puzzle. A row of glass tubes holds bands of coloured liquid in the wrong order. Tip one tube into another and the top band pours across, as long as it lands on the same colour. Keep pouring until every tube holds a single shade. Professor Quill sits at his desk under the board and watches every move. He blinks, gets bored when you take your time, frowns at a pour that cannot land and cheers when the level is solved. Three worlds, 1,580 levels. University is the old lecture hall where it starts: 480 levels with a few colours and a spare tube to move things through. Finish 100 of them and the other two worlds open. Company is the research lab: 1,000 levels that add colours and stack the bands deeper. Alaska is the frozen science station: 100 expert layouts with the least room to work in. Poured into the wrong tube? Undo steps back one move at a time, and restart puts the layout back the way it began. Nothing is timed, so a level waits while you look at it. Solving a level adds gems. The look is a bold poster: flat colour, thick ink outlines, one illustrated scene per world at the bottom of the screen and a plain board above it, so the tubes are always easy to read.
