GivingStump Live

Get tree work done right. The Giving Stump connects homeowners with local arborists for tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, and emergency tree services — without the phone tag, surprise quotes, or pay-per-lead games. HOW IT WORKS 1. Post your job in 60 seconds. Snap a photo of the tree, describe the work, and pick a timeline. 2. Get real bids. Verified arborists in your area review your job and submit fixed-price quotes — usually within hours, not days. 3. Pick your winner. Compare bids, contractor ratings, and insurance status. Chat in-app. Hire when you're ready. WHY THE GIVING STUMP ✓ FIXED PRICES, NOT ESTIMATES — every bid is the price you'll pay. No "we'll send someone out for a quote." No callbacks. No haggling. ✓ VERIFIED CONTRACTORS — every arborist on the platform is verified with current insurance and license documentation. ✓ NEVER PAY-PER-LEAD — contractors only pay 5% commission when they actually win the job. That means you get honest bids, not contractors padding prices to recover lead costs from platforms like Angi and Thumbtack. ✓ IN-APP MESSAGING — coordinate scheduling, access details, and final cleanup directly with your arborist. Stays inside the app for your safety. ✓ SECURE PAYMENTS — pay through Stripe when the job is complete. ✓ AI-ASSISTED JOB POSTING — our tree-identification AI helps you describe the work accurately, so you get accurate bids the first time. FOR ARBORISTS The Giving Stump is built by and for tree care professionals. We don't sell leads. We don't charge monthly subscriptions.
