By using your phone's camera as a guide and its sensors to measure angles, the app performs the trigonometric calculations for you. Just aim at the base, then at the top, and get your result. ➔GPS-Based Distance Tool: Get a quick estimate of the distance between two points using your device's GPS. This feature is ideal for measuring longer distances in open areas, like the length of a field or the distance between two landmarks. ● WHO IS IT FOR? • Construction & Engineering: Get quick estimations on site. • Forestry & Lumberjacks: Easily measure tree heights and plot distances. • Outdoor Enthusiasts: Measure the height of landmarks and estimate distances on a hike. • Real Estate Agents: Quickly estimate property dimensions. • Homeowners: Perfect for landscaping and outdoor DIY projects. ●ACCURACY & PRIVACY: • A Note on Accuracy: Please be aware that the accuracy of measurements is directly dependent on the quality and precision of your device's internal sensors. • Height Measurement relies on your phone's motion sensors. For best results, stand still and ensure a clear line of sight. • Distance Measurement relies on GPS signals, which can have an accuracy variance of several meters. This feature is most effective for longer, outdoor distances and is not intended for short, indoor measurements. • Your Privacy is Paramount: FieldMeasure is designed with privacy at its core. The app performs all calculations directly on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, images, or videos. Camera access is used for real-time viewing only—nothing is ever recorded. Download FieldMeasure today and carry a powerful measurement tool right in your pocket!
