Verified artists, venues and promoters can contribute and maintain event information, manage their profiles and help keep listings accurate and useful. That means fans get clearer information, artists spend less time repeating the same promotional work across disconnected platforms, and venues and promoters have a better chance of reaching people who are actually interested in the shows they’re presenting. Gigtea is built around the gig as the common point between everyone involved: the fan looking for something to do, the artist building an audience, the venue filling a room and the promoter putting the night together. No personal login is required to browse and discover gigs. Verified contributors can sign in to access additional publishing and contributor tools. Sydney’s live-music scene is already happening.
