GhostPost Live

GhostPost is a hyper-local, anonymous social platform designed to bring authentic conversations back to the community. In a world filled with curated profiles, constant comparison, and performative posting, GhostPost offers a simpler and more honest way to connect with the people around you. Instead of focusing on follower counts or personal branding, GhostPost empowers users to share what matters without revealing who they are. No accounts, no emails, no phone numbers—just real people having real conversations about their neighborhood, their city, and their day-to-day experiences. With GhostPost, you can ask questions, get fast answers from locals, and stay informed about what is happening nearby. Whether you are wondering about sirens in the distance, searching for the best late-night food, reporting a road hazard, looking for lost pets, or sharing useful neighborhood tips, GhostPost makes it easy to tap into your community’s collective knowledge. Every post is automatically tagged with a generalized location, ensuring relevance without ever exposing your precise coordinates. Want full control? You can always switch to Manual Search mode and browse any area you choose. GhostPost is built with privacy at its core. Your identity is never tied to a username or profile. Instead, your device generates a private, cryptographic key and a secure anonymous identifier that stays stored locally. We follow a Zero-Knowledge design philosophy, meaning we intentionally avoid collecting data that could identify you. Your personal information is never requested, shared, or sold. Your voting history and moderation actions live on your device only, and nothing you contribute is linked to you personally. Community moderation helps keep discussions relevant and healthy. Users can vote to surface helpful content or report inappropriate posts, enabling the app to self-regulate without compromising anonymity. This structure encourages fairness: a student’s insight matters just as much as a CEO’s, and the best ideas rise through community consensus rather than popularity or social status. Whether you live in a busy city, a quiet town, or a college campus, GhostPost provides a place to stay connected in a meaningful way. It is ideal for people who want to stay informed, share advice, coordinate with neighbors, or simply talk about what is happening in their area—without the noise, pressure, or risks associated with traditional social media.
