Full description
Get Your Life Back is a strict distraction blocker built for people who are done negotiating with themselves. Most blockers still leave the decision to you. A timer ends. A break becomes available. A button lets you turn the block off. Get Your Life Back works differently. Choose the apps and websites you want to block, start a session, and they stay blocked. No usage timers. No daily limits. No streaks. No gamified challenges. No five-second breathing breaks. Just blocking. Once a session starts, blocked items cannot be removed from the list. The block stays active until you choose to leave the session. Leaving includes actions such as uninstalling the app, clearing its data, disabling a required blocking permission, force stopping the app, or otherwise disabling the block. One payment starts one session. No subscription. Make the decision once. Then go live your life. ■ Accessibility Service disclosure getyourlifeback uses the AccessibilityService API to detect when you open apps or websites you have chosen to block, show a block screen, and detect attempts to bypass blocking, such as turning off the permission or force-stopping the app. To do this, it checks on your device which app is on screen and the site address in your browser's address bar. This on-screen information is not stored or sent to our servers. The app asks you to turn on the permission only after showing a disclosure and getting your consent.
