Homebook School

Homebook is the back office for a small school, on your phone. Take the roll, post a grade, check who still owes tuition, and answer a parent — without opening a laptop. Homebook is built for microschools, private schools, homeschools and co-ops, where the same person often does all four jobs before lunch. Your school gives you an account, and what you see depends on your job there. Office staff get the whole school; teachers get their own classes; parents get their own children. The three lists below are what each of those sees. FOR THE OFFICE • Attendance in one screen — present, tardy, absent, excused, or remote • Grades and GPA, report cards and transcripts • Tuition: who has paid, who is behind, and by how much • Compliance and immunisation records in one place • Check in and out at the front desk, with an approved-pickup list FOR TEACHERS • Your students, your classes, your roll • Message a family and get an answer back in the same thread • See who is out today and who has already been marked FOR FAMILIES • Your child's attendance, grades and balance • Report an absence in one tap — the teacher gets an email straight away • Say who is allowed to collect your child • Available in English and Spanish Homebook is used by real schools in Arkansas and is an approved Education Freedom Account vendor. Your school's data belongs to your school: export it as CSV at any time, and it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone outside the people your school gives access to. A Homebook account is created by your school. If your school does not use Homebook yet, see gethomebook.com.
