GeoMoby Protect helps safeguard Cultural Heritage Sites by providing real-time alerts when users approach protected areas in the field. Designed for industries such as mining, construction, land management, and field operations, the app uses advanced geofencing technology to warn personnel before they enter culturally sensitive or restricted zones. Key features include: • Real-time alerts when approaching protected sites • Geofencing with buffer and breach zones • Interactive maps showing protected areas and boundaries • Offline operation for remote environments • Automatic delivery of relevant maps and geofences to field users • Support for smartphones, tablets, and compatible wearables Once activated, the app loads the maps and geofence data relevant to the user’s work area. It then monitors location and provides alerts if the user approaches a protected Cultural Heritage site. To ensure these alerts are delivered reliably during field operations, the app uses location monitoring that continues even when the app is not open on screen. This allows GeoMoby Protect to detect entry into protected-area geofences and notify the user in time to prevent accidental disturbance. GeoMoby Protect is designed to support responsible land use, operational compliance, and the protection of culturally significant sites.
