Gen1POS Handheld Live

Gen1POS Handheld is a lightning-fast, intuitive tableside ordering application designed specifically for waitstaff. Built to run seamlessly on handheld devices, it eliminates the need for paper tickets and trips to the stationary terminal by putting the full power of the restaurant’s POS directly in the server's pocket. Gen1POS Handheld speeds up service, reduces human error, and elevates the guest experience. Key Features & Workflow Interactive Table Management: A real-time, visual floor plan allows staff to see table status at a glance—open, occupied, ordered Rapid Order Entry & Modifiers: Designed for speed, the interface allows servers to punch in orders conversational-style. It supports nested modifiers (e.g., "Steak -> Medium Rare -> No Onions -> Add Mushrooms"), allergy alerts, and custom kitchen notes to ensure every dish comes out exactly as requested. Instant Kitchen & Bar Routing: The moment an order is confirmed on the handheld device, items are automatically parsed and fired to the correct preparation stations. Drink orders go instantly to the bar printer, while food goes to the kitchen display or printer, eliminating the bottleneck of walking back to a main terminal.
