Full description
Your vegetables are under attack. Snails, beetles, moths and one very large rat are marching down the garden, and the only thing standing between them and your cabbages is what you plant. Garden Guard is a cute, colorful take on tower defense. Collect sun, sow your seeds in the right columns, and stop the bugs before they reach the crop bed at the bottom. Easy to pick up in one minute, and it keeps giving you something new for fifty levels. FIVE GARDENS, FIFTY LEVELS • Backyard Lawn — mown stripes, picket fence, and your first snails • Glass Greenhouse — warm, humid and crawling, with sun to spare • Moonlit Orchard — sunlight is scarce after dark, so plant Moonbells • Desert Allotment — blazing heat, and the pests move faster in it • Riverbank Paddy — flooded tiles that need a lily pad before anything grows ELEVEN SEEDS, EACH WITH A JOB • Sunflower — the sun that pays for everything else • Pea Pod — the reliable shooter • Thorn Bush — a wall that takes a long time to chew through • Chili — bursts and scorches a whole patch • Frost Mint — icy shots that slow pests to half speed • Pepper Shroom — cheap, but it only spits two rows ahead • Tomato Lob — arcs over your own walls and splashes on landing • Snap Trap — swallows one pest whole, then has to digest • Moonbell — a night bloom that makes sun in the dark • Spike Cactus — spines that skewer every pest in the column • Lily Pad — floats on water so you can plant on it TEN PESTS THAT DON'T PLAY FAIR Grasshoppers leap over your front line. Moths fly over everything you planted. Moles tunnel in and surface in the middle of the garden. Armoured weevils shrug off small hits and ignore frost. Every fifth level ends with a boss — and the Garden Rat is bigger than the tiles. MADE TO BE PLAYED ANYWHERE • Plays in portrait, one hand, no timer pressure between waves • No internet needed to play • No accounts, no sign-up, nothing to fill in • Three stars on every level if you can keep all three crops • Music and sound you can switch off whenever you like Every plant, pest and garden in the game is drawn in code, and every note of the soundtrack is generated by the app. Nothing is bought in. Plant well. Water never. Good luck.
