Gameheim Live

Gameheim is the production hub for game development studios. It brings source control, production tracking, team communication and studio knowledge into one place, so the picture of what is happening on the project is always current. The app is for teams that already use Gameheim. Accounts are created by each studio on the web, and all content in the app is behind authentication. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Follow your Kanban board by discipline, with tasks, deadlines and progress • See the state of your Perforce depot: locks, changelists and workspace status • Keep up with channels, direct messages and mentions • Read and search the studio wiki and its documents • Check the production pipeline, milestones and the activity feed • See who is online and what they are working on BUILT FOR THE PHONE • Push notifications for task assignments, mentions and build agent status, delivered while the app is closed • Biometric sign-in backed by the Android KeyStore. The private key never leaves the device and can only be used after a fresh fingerprint or face check, so signing in does not mean typing a password on a phone keyboard • An app lock that returns the app to its lock screen when it goes to the background, and asks for your fingerprint to resume • Session material kept in encrypted native storage, not in browser storage SECURITY AND PRIVACY Each studio's data is isolated from every other studio. Sensitive data, including your versioning system credentials, is encrypted at rest under keys that belong to the individual organization. Access is governed by custom roles built from more than thirty granular permissions. Submits, locks and changes are recorded in an audit log, so it is always clear what happened to a file and when. The log records the action and the file path; it never records the contents of a file, and it covers work done in Gameheim, nothing else on your device. Your files stay on your machines: the contents of files versioned are never uploaded to Gameheim. A lightweight agent installed on the studio's workstations runs every Perforce command locally, and the cloud only coordinates the work. Gameheim is a product of Virsion Sagl, Switzerland.
