FunTravelMap puts your own travel photos on a world map, each one pinned at the exact spot it was taken, and surrounds them with an atlas of 13,700 places worth photographing. PIN YOUR PHOTOS WHERE YOU TOOK THEM Pick photos from your gallery and they land on the map by the location your camera recorded. The Android app reads that location tag straight from the original file, something a web browser cannot do. Photos without a location go to a tray so you can drop them where they belong. Your pictures stay in your own Google Drive or OneDrive; FunTravelMap only reads the file names, dates and coordinates it needs. Optional FunTravelMap Storage keeps copies on our servers if you prefer. AN ATLAS OF 13,700 PHOTO SPOTS 1,649 cities, 203 countries, 39 categories: viewpoints, museums, beaches, lighthouses, waterfalls, hot springs, ferris wheels, drive-ins, go-kart tracks, neighborhoods and more. KNOW WHEN THE LIGHT IS RIGHT Every spot shows its best-light windows (dawn, morning, midday, golden hour, blue hour, night), worked out from the sun's real position for that place and time of year. Filter the whole map by the light you want. PLAN THE TRIP Build a shot list, save spots with a tap, and keep an itinerary calendar with flights, hotels, photo spots, food and entertainment. Export it to your calendar or subscribe to the feed. BOOK NEARBY Tours, activities, hotels, airport transfers and eSIMs appear next to the spot you are looking at.
