Room Privacy helps you inspect a hotel room or vacation rental for signs of hidden cameras. Follow a room checklist, review nearby devices, examine lens reflections and infrared light, and save your observations. These tools help you investigate clues; they do not confirm a hidden camera or guarantee that a room is camera-free. Infrared camera checks Look for infrared light that your phone's camera can pick up. Switch between front and rear cameras and use viewing filters to inspect light sources. A quick remote-control check helps you see whether your camera can show infrared light. Filters do not add infrared sensitivity to your camera. Lens reflection inspection Use the camera, flashlight and zoom to examine small reflections and openings in clocks, chargers and other objects. On-screen highlights draw attention to round details worth a closer look. A reflection alone does not confirm a camera. Wi-Fi scanner and Bluetooth scanner Use the Wi-Fi scanner to review devices on your connected network and the Bluetooth scanner to find nearby broadcasting devices. Check available names, device details and camera-service clues. Follow Bluetooth signal changes as you move to help investigate a device's location. Signal strength does not measure distance. Devices that are offline, silent or on isolated networks may not appear. Magnetic sensor readings On phones with a magnetic sensor, compare readings near an object. Metal, magnets and ordinary electronics can affect the readings; a change does not identify a hidden camera. Room inspection checklist and records Save inspection photos, short silent videos and notes for each room. Use a room checklist to cover sleeping and changing areas without forgetting places you wanted to check. These tools help you investigate clues; they cannot confirm that a room is camera-free. Infrared visibility depends on your phone's camera and whether a device emits infrared light.
