Reflect: AI Journal & Diary

Reflect is a calm journal for people who want to think more clearly. Every day brings one considered prompt and a distraction-free place to write. When you explicitly ask for it, the AI reads your entry and gives you one honest observation back: a pattern, a tension, or a question sitting between the lines. No coaching platitudes and no empty validation. HOW IT WORKS • Write freely or answer the daily prompt • Use the microphone for speech-to-text; your voice is not stored as a recording • Tap "Reflect" when you want an AI response • Find earlier entries again through search, timeline, themes and calendar WHAT MAKES REFLECT DIFFERENT • Warm, clear AI reflections, only when you ask • AI weekly reviews that connect the threads of your week • Local themes, trends, highlights and monthly reviews • Reminders on the weekdays and at the times you choose • Encrypted backups with your own passphrase • 27 languages, plus light and dark mode MORE THAN A DIARY • Decision lab: record a decision you are facing along with your reasons, then look back later at how it actually turned out • Compass: write down the rules you want to live by and find them again when it matters • Year story: your year as a readable story built from your own entries, shareable as text or as an image • Export and import: your entries are yours and can be taken out in full at any time WHO REFLECT IS FOR • For the evening, when your head is still full and the day wants sorting • For people who want to understand themselves better without feeling watched • For everyone who has started ten journalling apps and finished none • For the moments before a decision, when writing helps more than turning it over PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your entries live locally on your device. Journal text is only transmitted when you explicitly request an AI reflection or an AI weekly review. Voice input produces text and stores no new audio recording. PostHog may process pseudonymous technical usage events; RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription data. Neither receives journal text. No account is required. FREE AND PRO Writing, timeline and streaks are free forever. The free tier includes a weekly allowance of AI reflections. Reflect Pro unlocks unlimited reflections and the fuller AI weekly review. It is available monthly or annually, includes a free trial (7 days on monthly, 14 days on annual) and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your store settings. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need an account? No. No sign-up, no email address. Your entries stay on your device. Does Reflect work without internet? Writing, search, timeline, themes and monthly reviews all run offline. Only an AI reflection and the AI weekly review need a brief connection. Does the AI read everything I write? No. Text is only transmitted when you request an AI reflection or an AI weekly review yourself. Without that request, no text leaves your device. What happens if I skip a day? Nothing. Reflect counts streaks, but it does not punish you for having a life. Reflect is a journal for sorting your thoughts. It is not a medical or psychotherapeutic application and not a crisis service.
