FrostwindBay is a quiet ice fishing game about collecting frost-spirits in a lantern-lit northern bay. There is no timer pushing you and no score chasing you — you read the water, choose your moment, and see what surfaces. It is built for short sessions: one cast takes a minute, and the bay is still there when you come back. You fish from a small harbour village under the aurora. Walk out to the Bay Map, pick a fishing ground, and study the ripples before you commit. Each ripple belongs to a different spirit and only shows you a silhouette — "a tall plume of cyan mist, rolling slowly", "a long serpentine wake, low and wide". Call it right and the water is far more likely to give you the creature you named. Then you play the cast itself as a short skill game, and whatever surfaces is added to your bestiary, pays out Frostshards, and can be composed into a page in your almanac.
