BadgeBook Track

BadgeBook is an offline-first merit-badge handbook companion for scouts and youth program members who need a clear path to counselor sign-off. Cold start opens a fullscreen req-check surface for your active badge: a scrollable requirement checklist where each item shows open or done status, an optional scout note, counselor name, and sign-off date. A sticky leftover-to-earn strip stays visible with the remaining count, percent complete, and a quick jump to the next open requirement—so you always know what is left to earn. Work from a seed handbook catalog of common educational merit-style badges, including First Aid, Camping, Citizenship in the Community, Environmental Science, Personal Fitness, Cooking, and more, each with numbered requirement text ready to check. Mark complete in one tap with a date picker and counselor field, or undo the last sign-off without leaving the list. Manage several badges from the multi-badge progress shelf: start, pause, or switch the active badge. Completed badges move to an earned archive with a sign-off summary. Add private per-requirement notes for meeting prep or demo reminders—stored locally with the checklist row. Filter and search the catalog by badge name, partial progress, or fully earned. A simple scout profile card (display name, unit or troop label, rank goal text) provides local context on progress screens only—no account and no cloud. Copy a plain-text progress summary with badge name, done and left counts, and sign-off dates, then share it outside the app via the system share sheet. Optional on-device reminder flags on open requirements help you prep for the next counselor meeting. BadgeBook is a structured handbook tracker focused on locking completion evidence before your next badge review—not a game, quiz, or craft sandbox. Stay offline, stay focused, and know exactly which requirements are still open, who signed what, and what remains.
