Nommu: Eat or Fade Away

Nommu is always climbing, and climbing burns calories. Tilt your phone to steer and eat everything in reach — candies, lollipops, donuts, ice cream, cupcakes. Every sweet inflates you a little. Every second you spend climbing melts you back down. Eat well and you become gloriously, comically round. Miss too much and you thin out to a sliver, then to nothing at all. CHAIN YOUR SNACKS Eat without letting a reachable treat slip past and your multiplier climbs — x2, x3, x5, all the way to x8. SEVEN PLACES TO CLIMB THROUGH Candy Land, a bakery, the deep sea, a freezer, a soda fountain, the high sky and deep space. Every run visits them in a different order, so you can never learn where the hard part is. HOLD YOUR BREATH Underwater you have to breathe as well as eat. Air bubbles drift down past you and you have to catch them, while jellyfish and anglerfish cruise the current. Run out of air and you turn cold and blue, gasping, seconds from drowning. DODGE WHAT LIVES THERE Currents shove you sideways. Up in the high sky, gusts blow the sweets out of your reach. In deep space, spinning discs streak past, comets fall from above, and black holes drag you in and swallow you whole. THINGS THAT BEND THE RULES Magnet Pizza drags every sweet on screen into your mouth. Spicy Ramen sets you on fire and rockets you upward, eating everything you touch.
