Fourfold Club

Fourfold Club is a classic four-in-a-row board game played against an offline computer opponent. You control coral discs and the club uses ivory discs. Choose one of seven columns, drop a disc into the lowest available space and build a line of four before the club does. Horizontal, vertical and both diagonal lines can win. A full board without a winning line is a draw. TAKE A SEAT The table browser contains fifty numbered matches arranged into five rooms. The first table begins with an empty board. Other tables use varied opening positions with an equal number of coral and ivory discs already placed, and you take the next turn. You can choose any table immediately. The opening gives each match a different starting question: claim the center, extend a possible diagonal or address an existing threat. LOOK BEYOND ONE MOVE The computer compares legal replies using a bounded search. Later groups of tables search more deeply than the early group, progressing through four depth bands. The opponent looks for wins, blocks immediate threats and evaluates lines that may grow into future connections. It is a local game algorithm, not an online player or a remote language model. A thinking message appears while the reply is calculated, and the interface remains available. DROP WITH INTENTION Tap a column arrow or the column itself to place your disc. A full column cannot accept another disc. Because every piece falls to the lowest free position, placing a disc can also provide the support your opponent needs for a higher row. Look for ways to build two threats at once, and check whether blocking one line leaves another exposed. The most recently dropped piece is marked, making the club's reply easier to follow. REVIEW A TURN The table menu offers Undo last turn. It returns to the position before your most recent move, taking back both that move and the club's reply when a reply has already arrived. You can also restart the same table, select another table or return to the main menu. Winning marks the table complete. Losses and draws can be replayed as often as you like. Continue starts another match at your most recently selected table. A FAMILIAR MENU The main screen has Play, Settings, How to Play and Exit. Play contains Continue and the full stage collection. Completed stages are marked locally, and you are free to revisit them. Settings let you switch sound, haptic feedback and button animations on or off. The English interface uses touch controls, readable labels and original artwork created for this game. OFFLINE AND LOCAL No advertisements, purchases, account registration or internet connection are required. Progress and preferences belong to this installation and are saved on the device. Clearing the application's data removes those records. There are no online leaderboards or cloud saves. Choose a short attempt when you have a few minutes, or spend longer practicing a familiar stage at your own pace.
