Formations

Formations is a mobile app built for choreographers, dance teachers, and performers who want to visualize and plan stage formations with precision. Whether you're choreographing a K-pop cover, a stage musical, or a school recital, Formations gives you a visual canvas to place dancers, create keyframes, and watch your formations come to life along a music timeline. KEY FEATURES 🎵 Music Timeline Import your own music and place formation keyframes at exact moments in the track. See how your dancers move from one formation to the next, with smooth interpolated transitions between keyframes. 💃 Formation Canvas Place and drag dancers freely on a virtual stage. Each dancer is represented by a colored marker with a name, making it easy to track individuals across multiple formations. 🎬 Keyframe Management Add as many keyframes as you need throughout your track. Each keyframe captures a complete snapshot of where every dancer stands. Edit, reorder, or delete keyframes at any time. 👥 Dancer Management Create and manage your cast with custom names and colors. Changes to a dancer's name or color are automatically reflected across all keyframes in the project. 📁 Multiple Projects Manage multiple choreography projects from the dashboard. Each project is stored locally on your device, so your work is always available offline. 📤 Export formation sequences Export your formation sequence as an animated GIF to share with your team, students, or collaborators. WHO IS IT FOR? • Dance teachers planning group routines • Choreographers mapping out stage movement • Performers preparing for competitions or recitals • Anyone who needs to communicate "who stands where and when" PRIVACY All data is stored locally on your device. Formations does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. No account required. Get started by creating your first project — import a track, add your dancers, and start building formations today.
