FogPay SoftToken is the official two-factor authentication (2FA) app for FogPay merchant and corporate users. It generates the 6-digit, time-based one-time passcodes (TOTP) you need to sign in to the FogPay dashboard — no hardware token, no SMS, no internet connection required. WHY FOGPAY SOFTTOKEN? • OFFICIAL & PURPOSE-BUILT — designed for FogPay 2FA setup QR codes and manual setup keys, so onboarding takes seconds. • WORKS 100% OFFLINE — codes are generated on your device. No network, no SMS delays, works on flights and in low-signal areas. The app does not even request internet permission. • BANK-GRADE LOCAL SECURITY — your secret keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256 via the Android Keystore, and are never backed up or sent anywhere. • BIOMETRIC LOCK — protect your codes with your fingerprint or device PIN. • MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS — add as many FogPay merchant, admin, or staff logins as you need, each clearly labeled. • ONE-TAP COPY — tap any code to copy it, then paste it at login. HOW IT WORKS 1. In your FogPay dashboard, go to Settings → Security → Enable 2FA. 2. Open FogPay SoftToken and tap the gold scan button. 3. Point your camera at the QR code — or choose manual entry and type the setup key shown on screen. 4. Your 6-digit code refreshes every 30 seconds, with a countdown ring showing exactly how long it stays valid. STANDARDS-BASED FogPay SoftToken implements the open RFC 6238 (TOTP) / RFC 4226 (HOTP) standards with HMAC-SHA1 — the same algorithms used by leading authenticator apps — so codes always match the FogPay servers. PRIVACY BY DESIGN The app collects nothing: no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no network access. Your keys never leave your phone. Camera access is used only to scan QR codes.
