FocusQ controls your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera from your phone or tablet over Bluetooth. On a one-person shoot it works like a second pair of hands. FOCUS PULLS Save any lens position as a named point. Pull focus between two points with a smooth ease-in, ease-out move over the duration you set — the seconds you enter are the seconds you get. Keep a separate point set for every lens. CAMERA SETTINGS White balance, tint, iris, shutter angle, ISO, ND filter, dynamic range, sharpening and image stabilisation. Every field shows the camera's real value. Step with the arrows or tap the field and pick from a list. CODEC AND RECORDING Resolution, recording format (Blackmagic RAW / ProRes), compression, project frame rate and off-speed recording. Record start-stop, live timecode and card status stay within reach on every screen. MONITORING TOOLS Zebra, focus assist and false colour, one tap each. SUPPORTED CAMERAS Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, 6K, 6K G2, 6K Pro. The body is detected automatically. LENS COMPATIBILITY Focus and iris control work with any lens your camera can drive electronically: Canon EF/EF-S, electronic MFT lenses, and active adapters with electronic contacts. Manual and PL lenses without contacts cannot be focused or stopped down from the app; camera settings, codec and recording control still work.
