Fly5by5

5-by-5 helps aircraft owners stay on top of everything that keeps a plane flying — your logbook, maintenance, currency, and costs — all in one place. Fly it solo, share it with a partner, run a flying club, or manage a fleet; 5-by-5 fits how you own. FOR EVERY OWNER • A clean flight logbook with an automatic tach cascade that keeps your times continuous • Maintenance tracking for annuals, oil changes, ADs, and time-limited components, with alerts before things come due • Automatic day/night and instrument currency, plus medical and flight-review reminders • Squawk tracking with photos, and grounding alerts when they matter • FlightAware integration that pulls your actual route and times • Real expense tracking — link a bank account to see where the money goes • Aircraft document library covering 130+ POHs, maintenance manuals, and engine guides • Live weather (METAR) at a glance ASK AI Ask questions about your aircraft, its avionics, and its procedures — grounded in your plane's actual manuals. Ask AI can also help you book a flight directly, right from the chat or your own voice. WHEN YOU SHARE THE PLANE Co-own with a partner or run a flying club? 5-by-5 adds the coordination on top: • A shared, color-coded booking calendar with conflict detection • Per-member billing, payment reminders, and pilot roles • Everyone sees the same schedule, squawks, and maintenance status • Optional card-fee pass-through so members paying by card cover the processor fee A&P MECHANIC ACCESS Invite your mechanic with their own dedicated role — they see maintenance records and squawks, but not scheduling, billing, or member data. TREASURER TOOLS Draft-and-review monthly invoices, multi-line adjustments for reimbursements, expense categorization, and payments via Stripe, bank, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Pilots see what they owe; treasurers see everything. CLUB PRO — MULTIPLE AIRCRAFT, ONE GROUP Running a fleet? Club Pro adds multiple aircraft under a single group with per-airframe maintenance and squawk timelines, per-aircraft rates, and consolidated billing across the whole club. ON THE WEB, TOO A full web dashboard adds deeper analytics, cash flow projections and reporting, maintenance history and oil analysis, FlightAware track integration, and CSV exports for every view. PLANS 5-by-5 is free to download. The Solo paid tier unlocks the web dashboard and finances for individual owners. Club adds multi-member scheduling and billing. Club Pro adds multiple aircraft under one group. Whether it's just you and your airplane or a hangar full of partners, fly with everything buttoned up. We're reading you five by five!
