overheard.xyz

overheard.xyz is the anonymous feed for the city you’re in right now. Post what you’re really thinking. Read what everyone else is too afraid to say. Confessions from the coworking space. Hot takes about the neighborhood. Missed connections at that café you both go to. Spotted moments that make you laugh out loud. No profiles. No photos. No real names. Just raw, honest, unfiltered city life. THE FEED Browse posts by city, neighborhood, or the places you follow. Filter by trending, recent, confessions, spotted, hot takes, and missed connections. Upvote what resonates. Comment anonymously. Share what’s real. VOICE MATCHING Record a 3-minute voice journal every day. Talk about your day, rant about something, reflect on whatever’s on your mind. It’s private — nobody hears it. Our AI analyzes how you think, not what you say, and uses it to find people whose minds work like yours. NICHE MATCHING Describe exactly who you want to meet, in your own words. “Someone who reads philosophy, does jiu jitsu, and wants to build a company in Southeast Asia.” We’ll find them. YOUR MATCHES Matched by voice journal similarity, value overlap, and niche descriptions — not by photos or bios. See match scores, mutual connections, and shared interests. When the vibe is right, say hi and take it to DMs. WHAT MAKES OVERHEARD DIFFERENT • Anonymous-first — Post freely. No reputation to protect. • Location-aware — Drill down from region to country to city to specific places. • Voice-powered matching — We match on how you think, not how you look. • Natural language search — Describe your ideal person and we’ll find them. • From anon to actual — When you’re ready, real conversations happen in DMs. For nomads, expats, locals, and anyone who wants to hear what their city is really saying. Your city is talking. Start listening.
