DilSensei drills short Japanese sentences and measures two things: whether you got it right, and how long you hesitated. Mistakes aren't just marked as "wrong"—they are tracked as patterns. Place particles. Time expression word order. Past tenses. Counters. Then, with a single tap, the app generates your next session focusing precisely on the patterns you still struggle with. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone learning Japanese, but designed with one specific group in mind: Indonesians preparing to work in Japan, where hesitation on the job costs more than a wrong test answer. All training instructions and grammar notes are provided entirely in Indonesian—the actual learning materials, not just the interface buttons. SESSION STRUCTURE 5 to 15 minutes, 6 to 12 items—you choose at the beginning. Three exercise types: constructing sentences from word fragments, filling in missing particles, or conjugating verbs. Wrong answers are never skipped. The item will reappear in the same session until you get it right. Feedback explains the underlying grammar pattern of your mistake, not just the correct answer. WEAKNESS MAP Every answer builds a map of grammar patterns that haven't yet become muscle memory. Recent mistakes carry more weight than older ones, and correct but slow answers are still flagged, because true reflex means speed. Once you improve on a pattern, it naturally fades from your map. YOUR TRAINING RECORD Complete one session in each module, and the app will generate a Training Record featuring your reflex score, first-try accuracy, median response time, and the number of grammar patterns you've automated. This record is generated in English regardless of your app language settings, making it easy to share with instructors or training agencies. Please note: this is a log of your training, not a certificate. It is not a formal language qualification and does not replace the JFT-Basic, JLPT, or any other official examination.
