PlumbBob Drift

PlumbBob Drift is an offline-first single-wall plumb-line profile workbench for bricklayers, block masons, restoration crews, and trade apprentices who must prove one wall face is true. Cold start opens a fullscreen vertical plumb profile: a true vertical reference line, a shaded tolerance band, and station dots you place by height. Type left/right offset and high/low lean for each station—the live drift curve redraws across the full wall elevation the moment you confirm. Set up each wall job with a name, total height, base datum, and active tolerance width before the first station. Switch units between mm and in anytime. When stations are in, lock a clear mason verdict—PLUMB, BORDERLINE, or OUT—computed from max absolute drift and peak lean direction against your chosen tolerance, sealed with a timestamp. Three seed walls ship ready to inspect (8 ft block demo, 2.4 m brick sample, tall chimney face) so the profile is never empty on first open. Use the station strip editor to reorder, edit, or remove points; the selected station highlights on the curve with an offset callout. Apply common masonry plumb allowances from the tolerance reference card (for example 1/8 in in 10 ft or 3 mm/m class bands) with one tap. Build a plain-text crew sheet—height, L/R offset, high/low, verdict—and share it through the system share sheet. No account. No network required for the full core loop.
