Fishplate

Fishplate is a railway-spotting companion for finding live services, recording what you see and building a personal log of your time on the railway. Browse live railway headcodes and explore service schedules, timings and calling points. Search for a headcode to understand a train’s journey, then add it to your sightings. When you are out spotting, start a session at your location to see live movements and services due in the next hour. Record a sighting as you see it, add vehicle numbers when you know them and attach photographs. Fishplate keeps your session history together so you can look back at where you were and what you logged. Features include: • Live railway headcodes and service information • Headcode search, schedules and journey timings • Live spotting sessions at supported locations • Quick logging for individual sightings • Vehicle and fleet browsing • Automatic vehicle matching where data is available • Your personal sightings history, including services and photos • Location search and optional nearby-location suggestions Create a free Fishplate account to save sightings and use the full spotting tools. Location is used only when you choose “Find places near me” to suggest nearby railway locations.
