HOURLY FISHING FORECAST The Today screen scores this moment and every hour from 0 to 100, combining moon phase, solunar windows, pressure trend and the sky. A 24-hour timeline shows where the peaks sit and the 7-day chips already tell you about the weekend. The When card gives the next solunar window with a countdown, with sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset right underneath. MONTHLY FISHING CALENDAR A whole month in one grid: every day with its score, its moon phase and its windows. Use it to book the right day off well ahead. TIDES Where a tide station sits near you, FishCast builds the day's tide table on the phone from harmonic constants: high water, low water, height, time and the curve for the next 24 hours, with no connection. With no station nearby, the app says so instead of inventing a number. YOUR FISHING SPOTS ON THE GPS Mark where you are standing with one tap, or long-press the map to drop one by hand. Spots with no limit, each with a name, a type (sea, river, lake, reservoir, pond, pier), a color and your notes. The list sorts by distance and shows the bearing; inside a spot, a large compass needle and a live distance walk you back, and you can hand the route to the phone's map app. Download the area around a spot and the map stays on screen with no signal. WATERS NEAR YOU With nothing saved yet, the app lists the lakes, reservoirs, lagoons and bays around you, with distance and bearing. CATCH LOG Log a fish in under 30 seconds: photo, species, weight, length, bait, technique and a "released" switch. The app stamps the moon, the solunar window, the pressure, the weather and the spot of that moment on its own. Then filter by species, spot or month. RECORDS AND STATS Your personal records per species live in the profile, next to your fishing days, your total catches and a breakdown by moon phase, hour band and spot. FISH GUIDE AND "WHAT FISH IS THIS" Around 40 species with a photo, scientific name, regional nicknames, habitat, size, season, bait and technique: largemouth bass, trout, catfish, pike, carp, peacock bass, dorado, tilapia, snook and more. Not sure what you landed? Answer five questions about the fish in your hand (where you caught it, body shape, color, details like barbels or a forked tail, size) and the app hands back candidates with photos to compare side by side. A suggestion to confirm with someone who knows the water, never a verdict. OFFLINE AND NO SIGN-UP Moon, solunar, calendar, tides, spots, compass, log, guide and knots all work without internet; only the weather needs a connection, and without one the app shows the last report downloaded, with its time. No account, no subscription, no cloud: the backup exports everything into a file of your own. WHAT FISHCAST IS NOT FishCast is not a sonar: no phone can see fish under the water. What it does is put moon, sun, tide, pressure and weather together to tell you when the odds are on your side, and keep where and how you fished. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need internet?
