When you start doomscrolling, a floating overlay gently interrupts you and asks if you really want to keep going, protecting your dragon's health. Resisting the urge earns you food to grow your dragon; giving in costs it lives. As you harvest food and stay off the feeds, your egg levels up. At level three it becomes hatchable, and you play a quick tap-to-hatch mini-game to reveal a unique, AI-generated dragon, each one rolled with its own element and rarity so no two players get the same creature. You then name it and add it to your collection. Keep your habits healthy and your dragon thrives and climbs the leaderboard against other players; slip back into old scrolling patterns and it weakens, reverting to an egg until you earn it back. Under the hood, Firescroll is a thin native Android shell wrapping a web-based interface, backed by a TypeScript server that handles accounts, dragon generation, gems, and a global leaderboard.
