Fernie: Plant ID, Care Tracker

You brought home a beautiful plant. You watered it. Maybe too much. Maybe not enough. Now it's drooping and you're googling "why is my fern crispy" at midnight. Sound familiar? Fernie is the plant care app that actually keeps your plants alive. Snap a photo, and Fernie tells you exactly what your plant needs — then reminds you at just the right time. No more guessing and NO MORE FORM FILLING. FEATURES SNAP A PHOTO. PLANT ADDED. Point your camera and Fernie identifies the species from 10,000+ plants. Pot type, pot size, soil, and lighting are auto-detected — FULLY SET UP IN SECONDS. WATERING REMINDERS THAT MAKE SENSE Specialized care schedules based on species, environment, and temperature. You only get nudged when a plant truly needs water. FERTILIZING THAT FOLLOWS THE SEASONS Fernie tracks growing seasons by hemisphere and species, reminding you only when plants are actively growing — and goes quiet during dormancy. SNOOZE WHEN THE SOIL IS STILL MOIST Not sure it's time to water? SWIPE LEFT to snooze. Indoor plants die from overwatering far more often than under-watering — when in doubt, wait. PLANT HEALTH CHECK Something look off? Fernie examines your plant's photo and tells you what's wrong — yellowing leaves, pests, root rot, and more. TREATMENT PLANS When your plant needs help, Fernie creates a step-by-step recovery plan with follow-up reminders so you never forget to check back in. ORGANIZE BY ROOM, BALCONY, OR GARDEN Group plants by space. Multi-select lets you water or move in bulk, and search finds any plant instantly. WEATHER ALERTS Fernie watches your local forecast and alerts you when outdoor plants are at risk from frost or heat. PLANT JOURNAL Document your plants' journey with photo entries and poems in a story-style feed. CARE GUIDES FOR 10,000+ SPECIES Full care guides: preferred conditions, fertilizing, pruning, propagation, toxicity warnings, and difficulty level.
