How It Works FDBeacon NFC tags are installed on buildings by your fire department. When you arrive on scene, simply hold your phone near the tag. The app opens automatically and displays the full pre-incident plan for that building in under 3 seconds. If tag access is not possible — working fire, access restrictions, or any other reason — use the built-in building search to pull up any structure in your department's database by name.
