Fastward

Fastward is an intermittent fasting timer built around your home screen, not a menu you have to dig into. Start and end a fast straight from the widget, no unlocking or opening the app required. Free, forever, with no ads: every core feature below is free from day one. Nothing about tracking a fast is paywalled. FEATURES - Home-screen widget with a live progress ring, tap it to start a fast when idle, no need to open the app - Standard protocols: 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, or set your own hours - Fasting-stage guide (fed, blood sugar drop, fat burning, ketosis, autophagy), clearly framed as general education, not medical advice - Full history with editable start and end times, so a mistyped time is never stuck on your record - Stats: weekly hours fasted, streaks, longest fast, average window, all-time total - Milestone badges for fasts completed, longest fast and longest streak, once earned, never lost by missing a day - Streak freeze: one missed day inside an otherwise consecutive run won't reset your streak to zero - A silent, ongoing notification mirrors your progress with an End fast button, so you can check it without opening the app - Quick Settings tile to start or end a fast from your notification shade - Haptic feedback and Dynamic (You) theming on Android 12+ that matches your phone's own wallpaper - Share a streak or milestone as an image with one tap - Opt-in daily start reminder and a weekly recap notification, both easy to turn off - A light check-in nudge past 24 hours of active fasting, this app never frames fasting purely as a weight-loss shortcut FASTWARD PLUS (optional, one-time purchase, no subscription) - Save multiple custom protocols instead of resetting the hours slider each time - Full unlimited history plus monthly and yearly trend views - Weight tracking with a trend chart - Data export and backup to a file you keep yourself - 7 extra themes and 2 extra widget styles Fastward Plus is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. No renewal, no price jump later, no surprise charge. WHY FASTWARD Most fasting apps treat the widget as an afterthought, a static number you have to open the app to update. Fastward's widget is the main event: your ring, your remaining time, and a real start button, right on your home screen. No account needed. No data leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself.
