FarmerMesh

🌾 FarmerMesh – Your Village. Your Network. Your Growth. FarmerMesh is a decentralized, off-grid communication and resource-sharing platform engineered specifically for rural farmers and farming communities. Stay connected with neighboring farmers, share tractors and equipment, get pest and crop advice, and trade agricultural goods—even without cellular coverage or internet access! 📡 WHY FARMERMESH? In remote villages and agricultural fields where mobile internet connectivity is weak or non-existent, FarmerMesh builds a peer-to-peer (P2P) wireless mesh network directly between nearby smartphones and farming nodes using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi Direct. 🌟 KEY FEATURES: 💬 1. Mesh Chat & Group Discussions • Send private messages and broadcast village-wide updates completely offline. • Multi-hop relay forwarding: Messages hop securely across nearby farmer devices to reach across fields and villages. 🚜 2. Farm Equipment & Tractor Sharing • List tractors, harvesters, seeders, drone sprayers, and tools for rent or sharing. • Connect directly with tool owners in your village to reduce operating costs and eliminate middlemen. 🌾 3. Crop Advice & Pest Diagnosis • Post questions with photos about crop diseases, pest infestations, and soil health. • Learn from verified regional farming experts and progressive local farmers. 🏪 4. Village Agri-Marketplace (Buy & Sell) • Sell your harvest, organic produce, seeds, fertilizers, and livestock locally at fair prices. • Discover direct buyers and negotiate directly without commission fees. 🚨 5. Rural SOS & Weather Alerts • Broadcast emergency distress alerts (flooding, wild animal alerts, fire) across the mesh network instantly. • Receive synced local rainfall and weather forecasts whenever any node touches an internet gateway. 🇮🇳 MULTI-LINGUAL SUPPORT: Available in English, Hindi (हिन्दी), Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ), Marathi (मराठी), Telugu (తెలుగు), Bengali (বাংলা), and Odia (ଓଡ଼ିଆ). 🔐 PRIVACY & SECURITY FIRST: • End-to-end local data encryption. • No phone number or personal tracking required. • Complete offline-first architecture powered by Room database and resilient peer routing.
