GPS Fare Meter for Drivers

GPS Fare Meter for Drivers is a practical trip meter for independent taxi, private-hire and rideshare drivers. It estimates fares using GPS distance, elapsed trip time and rates you control. KEY FEATURES • Track trip distance and elapsed time using GPS • View distance earnings, time earnings and total fare separately • Set custom base, per-mile and per-minute rates • Edit rates while a trip is active • Pause distance and time calculations separately • Add toll and surge amounts • Create rate profiles for different ride types • View the pickup date and time • Save completed trips in local trip history • Delete individual trips or clear all history • View active meter information in an ongoing lock-screen notification • Continue an active meter while the screen is locked • No account or sign-in required Your fare settings and trip history are stored locally on your device. During an active trip, the app may continue accessing location in the background so it can calculate distance while the screen is locked. A visible ongoing notification is displayed during this activity. IMPORTANT Fare and distance results are estimates and may vary depending on GPS signal quality, device settings and local conditions. This app is not a government-certified taximeter and is not affiliated with any taxi or rideshare company.
