It helps connected members share locations, view updates on a private map, create place alerts, send SOS check-ins, and check supported device locations when available. The app is built for transparent, consent-based sharing. Members must join intentionally, grant permissions, and choose to share their location before others can view their updates. Family Tracker: Location Map is not designed for secret tracking, spying, or hidden monitoring. Key Features Family Location Map View shared location updates from connected family members on a private map, depending on permissions, sharing settings, device status, and network availability. Place Alerts Create saved places such as home, school, or work, and receive alerts when a connected member arrives at or leaves a saved place, where supported. Location History Review recent shared location updates and movement records, where available. SOS Check-ins Send an SOS alert or check-in with current location information to trusted contacts when support may be needed. Private Circles Create invitation-based family or trusted groups so location sharing stays limited to approved members. Device Finding Support Check the last available or shared location of a supported phone or device, depending on permissions and device conditions. Privacy and Permissions Family Tracker: Location Map may request location, background location, and notification permissions to support location sharing, place alerts, SOS alerts, location history, and device finding features. This app collects location data to enable these features, including when the app is closed or not in use, if background location permission is granted. Users can manage permissions, stop sharing, leave a circle, or remove connections at any time. The app should only be used with people who have agreed to share their location.
