Aaj kya banaye? Whether you cook for six people or just for yourself, that one question takes more time and energy than the cooking does. FamilyBites answers it every day with real Indian food, from your own kitchen, in the time you actually have. Then it takes care of the rest of the kitchen work too. WHAT IT TAKES OFF YOUR PLATE NO MORE "AAJ KYA BANAYE?" Every meal is picked for you from what is already in your kitchen, the cuisines you cook and what your family has loved before. It shows up on the Today screen, as a notification, or on WhatsApp, where you can reply to confirm it or ask for something else. Over 870 home-style dishes from 20 Indian regions: everyday North Indian, Punjabi, Awadhi and Bihari, Bengali, Assamese and Odia, Maharashtrian, Konkani and Goan, Tamil, Kerala, Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka, plus world food for the days you want a break from roti sabzi. NO MORE COOKING AROUND THREE DIETS Veg and non-veg, a Jain member, someone who skips onion and garlic, an allergy: every suggestion is checked for each person eating. In a mixed home, the ones who eat meat are offered a non-veg side, so you are not running two menus at the same stove. NO MORE LAST-MINUTE GROCERY RUNS Your shopping list builds itself from the meals you plan, minus what is already on your shelf. Order it in a tap on Swiggy Instamart from inside the app, review the cart, and pay cash on delivery. NO MORE CHECKING THE SHELVES Cooking a meal uses up its ingredients and a delivered order refills them, so the pantry keeps itself up to date and you only hear about what is running low. Add items the way you say them: aloo, pyaz, dahi, atta. NO MORE SUNDAY-NIGHT PLANNING Breakfast, lunch and dinner for every day of the week, planned around your pantry and balanced across the week. Want something else on Thursday? Just tell Chiku. NO MORE REMEMBERING FAST RULES Switch on Ekadashi, Navratri or Shravan and the plan follows the fast: vrat-friendly food on fasting days, across the app, WhatsApp and notifications. NO MORE FORGETTING TO SOAK THE RAJMA A reminder the night before for anything that needs soaking or prep, and one when it is time to start cooking. NO MORE "ARE WE EATING RIGHT?" Say who ate, and protein, fibre, iron, calcium and five more nutrients add up for each person across the week. Upload a lab report to set targets from real markers. Guidance for meal planning, never a diagnosis. NO MORE SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS MID-COOKING Chiku, your kitchen assistant, is on every screen. Tap Ask Chiku on today's dish, a day in your plan, a pantry item or the week's nutrition, and Chiku already knows what you mean. Or just ask: "What can I make with paneer and palak?" "Suggest a high-protein dinner." "I only have 20 minutes." Type it, or say it out loud while your hands are covered in atta.
