Famant: Share the Mental Load

The mental load was never meant for one person. Famant captures what needs doing, keeps everyone in the loop, and shares the work fairly. The appointment to remember. The school form on the counter. The thing that needs buying. The plan everyone needs to know about. Family life is full of things that have to be noticed, remembered and followed through. Famant is the family organiser that brings those things out of one person's head and into the shared life of the household. Famant is available now for Android. SNAP IT, AND IT'S HANDLED Meet Liv, the companion inside Famant. Photograph a birthday invitation, and Liv reads the details that matter: the date, the time, the venue, which child. Liv then proposes what usually follows: a calendar event, a reminder to buy a gift, a task to RSVP. Nothing is added until you say yes. Liv proposes. You decide. Speak a task and it's captured. Snap a school form, a receipt or a fridge note and keep it where your family can act on it. Voice capture and Photo scan mean adding to your family to-do list takes seconds, not a typing session. KEEP EVERYONE IN THE LOOP When one person knows everything, the whole household depends on one person's memory. Famant keeps plans, tasks and important things visible to the people who need to know. A shared family calendar, Smart reminders and a Document vault keep everyone on the same page, so fewer things are left unsaid, forgotten or assumed. Overlapping commitments get spotted before they become a clash. For co-parenting across two homes, parenting schedules keep both households working from the same plan. SHARE THE WORK FAIRLY Running a home isn't just about getting things done. It's remembering the appointment. Planning the meal. Knowing the form is due. Noticing what's running out. Telling someone what needs to happen next. Care Points make this invisible work visible including who remembered, planned and told everyone. so effort is seen and shared fairly, without scorekeeping or blame. Auto redistribution suggests a rebalance when someone's stretched, while Smart assignment helps make sure the right person knows what needs them. A chore chart only tracks the doing; Famant makes the remembering visible too, so household chores and responsibilities stop quietly landing on the same person. MORE OF FAMILY LIFE, IN ONE PLACE Instead of a calendar app, a to-do list, a shopping list, a budget spreadsheet and a group chat, Famant brings everyday household organisation together: • Voice capture — say it, and it's on the list • Photo scan — snap a form or invitation and Liv turns it into what needs doing • Shared calendar — everyone's schedule in one view, with clashes spotted • Smart reminders — reaching the person who needs them • Document vault — school forms, insurance papers and appointment letters, findable • Budgets and expense tracking — for shared household spending • Meal planning — weekly plans built around what your household actually eats, with ingredients turned into a shared shopping list BUILT FOR FAMILY LIFE Famant is built first for families, including families living across two homes. It also works for couples, flatmates, roommates, multi-generational homes and carers: any home where people need to stay connected and coordinate everyday life. BUILT TO BE TRUSTED Everything you share is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only the people you invite can see it. We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising. No ads, ever: your subscription is what keeps Famant running. Liv works with your household's calendars, people and documents, respecting the sharing and permissions your family sets. To help your family, Liv processes what you share on secure servers. It's used only to run Famant - never for advertising, and never sold to anyone.
