PlayShield

PlayShield is the premier integrity and security companion for modern e-sports. Designed for competitive elite and grassroots tournaments alike, PlayShield ensures that every match is played on a level playing field. Our mission is to protect the spirit of competition by monitoring gameplay integrity and device activity while strictly maintaining player privacy. With PlayShield, players and tournament organizers can focus on what matters most: the game. ### Why PlayShield? In the world of competitive e-sports, fairness is everything. PlayShield provides a robust suite of security features that work seamlessly in the background to detect and report unauthorized modifications, third-party software, and hardware manipulations that compromise the integrity of the match. ### Key Features and Capabilities: #### 🛡️ Advanced System Integrity Check Before you even enter the lobby, PlayShield performs a comprehensive scan of your device environment. It verifies root status and checks for system-level modifications that could be used to gain an unfair advantage. #### 🕒 Persistent Security Monitoring (Foreground Service) To guarantee a fair e-sports environment, PlayShield must provide uninterrupted monitoring while you are in-game. Our application utilizes a persistent foreground service to maintain a secure session even when the app is in the background. This technical requirement ensures that the Android OS does not pause security protocols, allowing for continuous integrity checks and real-time protection throughout your entire match. #### 📦 Targeted Package Visibility To maintain a level playing field, PlayShield verifies the presence of authorized game versions and checks for specific prohibited software on your device. We prioritize privacy by only querying for a pre-defined set of packages essential for tournament security, without accessing your wider application data. #### 🌐 Secure Network & Network Integrity Verification Consistency in connectivity is key to fair play. PlayShield monitors for network integrity and proxy usage, ensuring that all participants comply with tournament rules regarding server location and network stability. #### 🔌 Hardware & Peripheral Detection Beyond software, PlayShield looks at the physical state of your device. It detects unauthorized external hardware or peripherals that are restricted in competitive play, ensuring that every player relies only on their skills. #### 📊 Transparent Session Logging PlayShield maintains a secure, encrypted log of your device's security status throughout the match. This provides tournament organizers with the transparent data needed to verify match results and uphold tournament standards. ### 🛡️ Commitment to Privacy We believe in fair play, but we also believe in privacy. PlayShield only monitors attributes related to game integrity and does not access your personal messages, photos (outside of tournament verification), or private data. Your security and privacy are our top priorities. PlayShield ensures that talent is the only thing that wins. Play fair, play smart, and keep the competition clean!
