Contact Number Fixer

Contact Number Fixer corrects phone numbers in your contacts when a mobile operator changes them. Right now, that means Gambia. Mobile numbers are moving from seven digits to nine, and this app finds the ones affected and offers to fix them, the same way, for every contact, all at once. WHAT IT DOES • Reads your contacts and shows you exactly what it found. Nothing changes yet. • Explains every number: what would change, what stays exactly as it is, and why. • Saves a backup file before it touches anything. • Updates your 20 most recent contacts first, then pauses so you can make one real call and check it worked, before it does the rest. • Undoes an entire run, or rolls back just one rule, whenever you want. ENTIRELY ON YOUR DEVICE This app has no internet access. Not as a setting you could turn on, but built without the capability at all, checked automatically on every release. Your contacts are read and changed on your phone, and nowhere else. NOT JUST GAMBIA Nothing about which numbers change is hardcoded. Every rule is something you can see and edit in Settings: which digits, what gets added, which operator. If your own country's numbers ever change the same way, you can build the rules for it yourself. WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO • Guess. A number that doesn't match a rule is left alone and reported, never assumed. • Send your contacts anywhere. • Delete a contact. Made by Fagaru Systems.
