Mirova

Mirova is a Wear OS watch face built around an original oil painting depicting a misty lake at dawn. The artwork captures that suspended breath between night and morning, when still water holds both darkness and the first quiet tremor of light. Rendered with visible impasto brush strokes and a richly textured surface, the painting draws the eye into a world that feels heavy with silence and soft with distance. The composition centers on a calm, open expanse of glassy water stretching across the lower half of the face. The surface reflects pale cyan light breaking through low-hanging charcoal mist, giving the impression that the lake itself is the source of the faint luminescence on the horizon. Silhouetted treelines of dark slate pine and birch frame the edges, their forms gradually dissolving into grey fog toward the corners. Above, the sky transitions from deep charcoal near the top down to hushed rose and ivory tones near the horizon. A faint cyan accent bleeds through the haze at the center, tying the sky and water together in a single dreamy atmosphere. The overall color palette of dark slate, charcoal, and cool cyan keeps the face deeply legible while retaining a painterly, cosmic quality. Mirova is designed for those who find beauty in slow transitions and prefer time felt rather than counted. The open center of the composition leaves clear space for watch hands, ensuring readability without disturbing the mood of the scene. Whether worn during a quiet morning or a late evening, this face offers a small window into a world half-awake between night and dawn.
