Full description
ShareOps does something a transfer app normally cannot: it changes the file while it travels. Choose "resize", "compress to 2 MB", "images to PDF" or "zip" as you send, and the file arrives already converted. The processing runs on whichever of the two devices has more free RAM to spare. SHARING • Nearby devices appear on their own. No QR codes, no pairing wizard. • A six-digit PIN, plus an accept prompt on the receiving device, before a single byte moves with an option to remember a device. • Send files, a note, a link, or the image sitting on your clipboard. • Drag and drop straight onto the window. • Received files land in Downloads\ShareOps, bucketed into Images, Documents, Archives and so on. • Send a copy to this device to run an operation on a file without leaving your desk. • A history of everything sent and received, clearable whenever you want. TRANSFORM IT ON THE WAY • Images: resize, compress to a target size, convert format, crop to an aspect ratio, rotate, grayscale, brightness and contrast, photo filters, upscale, watermark, meme caption, remove metadata, make a thumbnail. • Documents: images to PDF, PDF to images, merge PDFs, split a PDF, PDF to Doc, Doc to PDF (Download the app on windows to use this doc to PDF) and much more • Archives: zip and unzip, tar.gz and extract. • Locks: password-protect a ZIP or a PDF. • Files: rename, batch rename, SHA-256 checksum, split a large file into parts and merge the parts back together. • Audio: convert, compress, trim and extract, offered when FFmpeg is on your Desktop PATH. PRIVATE BECAUSE OF HOW IT IS BUILT • Every transfer is end-to-end encrypted: X25519 key agreement, AES-256-GCM, with fresh keys agreed per transfer. • Nothing passes through a server. The bytes travel device to device across your own network. • No account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics SDK. • Offline mode in one switch, and ShareOps never contacts anything outside your local network. WHAT IS ON THE OTHER END Another computer or a phone running ShareOps: Windows, Android, macOS, Linux or iOS. Any pairing works, as long as both devices are on the same Wi-Fi.

What's new

• Encrypted device-to-device transfers across your local network, with six-digit PIN pairing and an accept prompt on the receiving device. • On-transit operations: images, PDFs, archives, password protection, checksums and file splitting. • Send text, links and clipboard images as well as files. • Drag and drop, a full transfer history, and an offline mode that keeps the app on your own network.
