Full description
Nodding off at your desk? EyeJolt watches your eyes with the front camera and wakes you the second you start to drift — a buzz on your wrist, a sound, or both. ON YOUR WRIST Pair a Wear OS watch and jolts arrive on your wrist as vibration. Install EyeJolt on your phone and your watch will offer to install it too. Set the haptic strength to Gentle, Standard, or Strong to match how deeply you sleep. EyeJolt is a stay-awake alarm and drowsiness detector built for study sessions, night shifts, remote work, and the post-lunch slump. Prop your phone up, start a session, and EyeJolt watches for the signs that you are drifting: eyes closing, head dropping, and microsleep patterns. READING DOES NOT SET IT OFF Most drowsiness apps are built for drivers, who sit head-up. Put one on your desk and it cries wolf the moment you look down at a keyboard or a book. EyeJolt watches your eyes, not just your head angle, so reading with your head down does not trigger it. Closing your eyes does. IT DOES NOT GIVE UP AFTER ONE BEEP A single buzz is easy to sleep through. EyeJolt escalates: a nudge first, then a firmer alert, then a full jolt that keeps going until you acknowledge it. It also catches you when you doze off sitting upright, not only when your head drops. WHY EYEJOLT WORKS - Catches drowsiness as it happens, not after a timer runs out - Uses front-camera face detection for eye and head-nod signals - Randomizes alarms so your brain does not get used to one sound - Lets you curate the active alarm rotation - Includes serious focus alarms and ridiculous chaos alarms - Keeps your screen awake during active sessions SOUND BANK BUILT TO WAKE YOU EyeJolt includes loud, funny, and serious alarm options: air horn, klaxon, referee whistle, gong, animal chaos, absurd novelty sounds, calm focus tones, and character-style wake-up lines. Choose the alerts you want in rotation, or let EyeJolt surprise you. RECORD YOUR OWN ALARM Make the wake-up call personal. Record your own alarm, name it, add it to the rotation, and share the clip. PRIVATE BY DESIGN EyeJolt runs on your device. Camera frames are processed live for drowsiness signals and are not saved, stored, or uploaded. There is no account requirement and no cloud face processing. MADE FOR - Students cramming for finals - Night-shift workers and night nurses - Remote workers fighting the afternoon slump - Desk workers, coders, and creators - Anyone who needs a wake-up aid during a focused session IMPORTANT EyeJolt is a wake-up aid, not a guarantee. It is not a medical device, safety system, or driver monitoring tool. Do not use EyeJolt while driving. Keep the phone camera facing you and the screen on during a session.

What's new

A privacy switch, and a fix. Settings now has "Share usage and crash data". Turn it off and EyeJolt stops sending anonymous usage counts and crash reports straight away. Fixed a crash when recording your own alarm on Android 11 and older. Camera and face data stay on your device.
