Full description
Text Expander Keyboard turns a short trigger word into your full text. Type "pgm" and your email address appears. Type "addr" and your full address appears. Every typing shortcut you save works in every app on your phone. Stop retyping the same things all day. Your email address, your phone number, your home address, a reply you send ten times a week — save each one behind a short trigger once, and the keyboard types it for you from then on. HOW IT WORKS 1. Name a trigger. Any word you like, short or long. 2. Paste the text it should expand into. 3. Type the trigger in any app. It disappears, your text appears. Two fields. No account, no sign-up, no sync, nothing to configure. WHAT TO SAVE AS A TYPING SHORTCUT • Email addresses and phone numbers • Home and work addresses • Email signatures and sign-offs • Canned replies and support answers you send constantly • Usernames, order numbers, reference codes • Code snippets, commands, and file paths • Long names, technical terms, and words you always mistype • Greetings and standard messages in any language QUICK ACTIONS Some triggers do more than paste text. Bind a trigger word to an action and it runs the instant you type it: • Insert today's date • Insert the current time, 12-hour or 24-hour • Insert the day of the week • Paste whatever is on your clipboard • Select all, select before the cursor, or select after the cursor Type "crd" and today's date is inserted. The trigger word is removed automatically — only the result stays behind. A COMPLETE KEYBOARD, NOT JUST AN EXPANDER Text expansion sits on top of a full keyboard. You give nothing up: • Glide typing — swipe through words without lifting your finger • Languages and layouts for the keyboards you actually use • Themes in light and dark, with adjustable key height and spacing • Clipboard history, with items you can pin so they never expire • Full emoji keyboard with search • Smartbar for suggestions and quick actions above the keys • Haptic and sound feedback you can tune or switch off • Incognito mode, which stops the keyboard learning from what you type YOUR PRIVACY A keyboard sees everything you type, so here is exactly what this one does with it: nothing. • What you type is never uploaded, logged, or sent anywhere • There is no account, no cloud sync, and no server to receive your text • Your expansions, clipboard history, and learned words stay in the app's private storage on your device • Nothing you type is ever used to select or measure advertising • No analytics SDK, no telemetry, and no crash reporting Uninstall the app and every bit of it is gone with it. FREE, WITH ADS Text Expander Keyboard is free. Ads appear in the app's settings screens and help pay for development — never on the keyboard itself, and never while you are typing. WHO IT IS FOR If you answer the same emails, fill the same forms, send the same replies, or type the same address over and over, a text expander saves you those keystrokes every single day. Writers, developers, support agents, salespeople, students, and anyone who fills in forms on a phone get the time back fastest. GETTING STARTED Android asks you to enable a new keyboard before you can use it. Open the app, follow the two setup steps, then pick Text Expander Keyboard from your keyboard switcher. Add your first typing shortcut straight after — it takes under a minute.
