Excuse Roulette

Stuck on a call you need to get off — right now? Excuse Roulette gives you a believable reason to go, instantly. Pick a situation, tap once, and the app plays a realistic background sound through your speaker while showing you a short line to read out loud. The other person hears traffic, a crying toddler, a dropped signal — whatever fits — and you're off the call in seconds. HOW IT WORKS • Pick from 10 everyday situations: traffic, emergency room, a crying toddler, a construction site, a noisy restaurant, an airport terminal, a thunderstorm, a barking dog, an office meeting, or a bad phone signal. • Tap the card — the ambient sound starts looping immediately and one of 10 excuse lines appears in big, easy-to-read text. • Don't love the line? Tap "Next line" to cycle to another one without restarting the sound. • Tap STOP the moment you're off the call. BUILT FOR THE MOMENT • One tap, no menus to dig through — designed to be used while you're already mid-conversation. • Big text you can read at a glance. • A gentle vibration confirms playback started, so you don't have to stare at your screen. • 100 pre-written excuse variations (10 per situation) cycle through without repeating until you've heard them all. 100% OFFLINE, PRIVATE BY DESIGN Excuse Roulette needs no internet connection and no account. Every sound and every line is bundled inside the app — nothing is uploaded, tracked, or stored about you. It requests no data-collecting permissions: just vibration for the launch buzz and audio settings so your sound reliably comes out of the speaker. Excuse Roulette is a bit of fun for those moments when a call has gone on too long. Use responsibly!
